Upcoming Events and Classes for Janet Nunn Watercolors
Holiday Studio Show and Classes for
2010
Holiday Studio Show December 5, from
11 am to 4 pm. This is a show where you can visit the studio,
see the new works from this year. There are new cards, limited

Classes for 2010
Six-week classes will be held on Tuesdays
starting January 12, 2010 at the Arvada Center. Each class will
cover a new topic in painting with watercolors. Participants will
learn techniques in masking, negative space painting, layering color
and more. Using these new methods will add new dimensions to your
current watercolor paintings.
Tuesdays, January 12,19,26, February
2,9, and 16, at the Arvada Center for the Arts from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.

Wednesdays will be at the Foothills
Art Center in downtown Golden January 20, 26, February 3,10,17, and
24, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. In this class, participants will
learn to simplify painting in watercolor using a variety of techniques,
including blending color, negative space painting, pouring and a variety
of methods using either traditional or liquid watercolor paints.

Day workshops
At the Center for the Arts in Evergreen
there will be 3 workshops:
Saturday January 23, 9:00 am to 3:00
pm, Painting Note Cards. This is a great class to learn techniques
in watercolor by painting a smaller space. Also, a great
way to share your art when finished with the class.
Friday, February 20, 9 am to 2 pm,
Painting Small and Large. In this one day workshop participants
will paint a small watercolor painting 2 x 2 inches in the first part
of the class and the second part will focus on painting a full sheet
of watercolor paper 22 x 30 inches. Try this class and enjoy changing
the size of your paintings.
Saturday March 20, 9:00 am to
3:00 pm, Painting Flowers. Spend the day painting flowers in watercolors.
Spring brings so many bright colors to the garden and in this class
you can learn some fun techniques to create these bright blossoms.

Saturday February 6, 9:00 am to 3:00
pm, Painting Snow in Watercolors. Here is a wonderful opportunity
to learn how to paint the beautiful, February snow that we have in
Colorado this time of year.
